Calda underfloor heating systems are built to deliver exceptional efficiency, reliability and comfort. With a comprehensive range of solutions available, we provide systems suited to almost any property — whether for new build projects or refurbishment and retrofit applications.
Calda Pro
Calda Pro is our most versatile system. It consists of a 20MM high density XPS insulation panel, housing the underfloor heating pipework. It is an overlay system, so is applied directly on top of your current floor build up. Engineered wooden flooring and tiles can be laid directly on top of this system. Carpets will require a 5MM latex application or a 6MM layer of plywood.
This system can be supplied for use with either 12mm or 16mm pipework.
Due to the high quality insulation properties of the XPS panel, and the heat distribution properties of the cement coating, this is an extremely effective system for many refurbishment and new build projects. As this system requires only a 20MM build-up, it limits the loss of ceiling height.
Calda Foil
Calda Foil is a flexible overlay system designed for retro-fit and refurbishment projects.
It consists of a high density pre-grooved EPS insulation panel with a coating of aluminium foil. 16MM underfloor heating pipework is then laid in to the grooves.
This is a cost effective overlay system, that produces a quick heat up time due to the heat spreading properties of the aluminium coating.
Calda Plate
Calda Plate is a traditional method of installing underfloor heating into a joisted floor build up.
It consists of a layer of insulation between joists (either wool or panel insulation), with an aluminium plate secured across the joist. Underfloor heating pipework is then clipped into the plates. A tongue and groove layer is then applied on top of the system.
Calda Plate is a highly cost effective system, while still enabling you to produce sufficient heat outputs.
Calda Tack
Calda Tack is our go to system for screeded floor build up's.
Our Tack system consists of high quality 5 layer PE-RT underfloor heating pipework, tacked onto insulation panels using 60MM tacker clips. A layer of liquid or cement screed can then be applied on top.
This is the most suitable systems for most screeded new build projects. It produces a high heat output, whilst remaining cost effective
